Today was my last morning in Neptune’s Hostel. I signed out at 9:30 am, which is still quite early for me. I walked with my big (heavvvyy) bag to the bus stop across town, and found out the bus directly to Lismore doesn’t run today. The best route I could get was from Killarney to Cork to Fermoy. The trip was a good distance, and the bus station was fairly confusing. My prepaid sim card was out of commission temporarily and the public phone wasn’t working, so I decided to have a look around town. Fermoy is much bigger and busier than Lismore, with stores packed into every building. I had some hot chocolate in a cafe, and it was some of the best I ever had. They included marshmallows! I managed to make it safely back to Lismore around 2pm. I immediately went out to Centra to get some supplies and cleaned the cottage pretty well. I ended the day with a round of Tudors episodes and texting back and forth with friends.
See it on the map.
