Cork

Today started out very slowly.I stayed in bed till noon, not feeling like getting up. I finally had to wake up and get ready for a shoot near Midleton, in Co. Cork. It was a First Communion session, that took place in Castlemartyr Resort. It had a large garden and some ruins on the grounds. I went straight to the old Jameson’s Distillery afterward for a tour. They had huge stills in there, some of the largest in the world. The tour ended in the bar, and I had two Jameson’s with cola. Later on, I went to Cork City and did some shopping and looking around. I visited the English Market too, which is a large indoor farmer’s-like market. On the way to Lismore, I stopped by Conna Castle, which is a small ruin on the river Bride. For dinner I had homemade pizza, which took quite awhile to make. Bacon and pineapple pizza is delicious apparently!
