Day 6

I think it’s been one of the longest moving days so far. I went early in the day with my father-in-law to IKEA to start buying furniture for the house. It always takes a few hours to shop in the store. It is gigantic, and always tempts with its cheap restaurant. We carried out two cartloads and managed to fit it exactly into the car. We drove with a giant Stockholm carpet over our shoulders 😛 In the afternoon, V, G and his dad prepared the shed for placing the doorframes. In the evening, it was a free for all between painting and assembling the first IKEA furniture. My father-in-law worked on the furniture, while G and I were highly motivated on the painting. Parts of our home are starting to come together. We finally have part of our dining table and bathroom even. More work tomorrow!
