A return trip to De Haage Hogeschool/The Hague University proved semi-fruitless, as we were redirected from the International Office to the enrollment office, and then to the national student academic entrance website. I did learn however that I can apply for entry in September 2012 starting November 2011 through May 2012. We drove around Den Haag for fun again, and I saw the American Embassy, which looks like a war bunker. Nearby we went into Scheveningen, the seaside by Den Haag. Parking was very expensive, around $3.50 for 48 minutes, but we walked around anyways. There was a set of gulfbreakers with paths, allowing for a stroll. G took the long way around, by leaping on the rock walls. The coastline is clear up and down, allowing us to see all the way from Noordwijk to Rotterdam. On the way back, we hiked a short way in the Panbos park. It has a nice trail through the woods, leading to a German anti-tank wall. It was built to keep Allies out. The woods were alive with “wildlife”, consisting mostly of bugs. There were entire trees covered in caterpillar cocoons. When we had dinner,we got the urge to shoot industrial photos. G and I left the house at 9:30 pm, and didn’t return home until 1:30 am. Driving around the port is always fun, as we ran into late night fishing, parking, and late night rounds of the customs enforcement agents.
