It’s been a long time since I updated my blog, and a lot has happened. I will go back and add new content from the past trips and subsequent move to Europe. I am officially living in the Netherlands at long last. I can stay here (for now), and build a life with my fiance. It’s amazing how much I miss from the USA, like driving a car, my family and friends, the food, and more. I am very happy to be here, though I am still adapting to the changes. It took some time to acquire my residence permit, a cell phone, bank account, and health insurance. There are a lot of legal processes to being here, and it never ends. It’s part of being an adult too.
One of my hobbies has managed to manifest itself here: gardening. There are a variety of plants growing inside and outside the house, including carrots, celery, potatoes, peppers, broccoli, spinach, lettuce, peas, garlic, cucumbers, herbs, and flowers. It’s very nice to have these different colors filling up the property. I witnessed a full flower season as well, and will post pictures of the fields soon. For now, here is a glimpse into the view around our house!

Our neighbor brought me these lovely yellow tulips

I think you are doing a geat job in adapting here.
And it’s differcult to miss your family and hope we can help you with that.
