G and I
My name is Jen. I am an American. I am a seeker of knowledge. I am a traveler.
At the age of thirteen, I took my first flight to Washington D.C. with my junior high school class. It was the farthest I ever went alone, and the most exciting. After the week span, I returned home with ten rolls of film. My experience struck open a love of travel, and forced me to admit my obsession with photography. In the following years, I have gone from coast to coast and expanded overseas.
During my travels, I did the most amazing thing. I fell in love with a European, my G. I am no longer alone, we travel together. Experiencing these life-altering events compels me to share and document the road I see.
I witness the wonders of each separate place and people, nearby or far. Despite the diversity of these experiences, they present me a clearer picture of the world as a whole, as one. They connect into my understanding of humanity and nature, continually evolving my outlook on life. On the scale of travel and life experience, I have barely scratched the surface. There are many more things in this world to understand, witness, and answer. One by one, I will see them in my own yard and thousands of miles away. These experiences will be documented in light, seen through my eyes and camera. My blog is about travel and life!
