Being Busy

I can’t say every weekend is filled with castles and historic sights. The whole idea sounds very tiring actually. I’d rather find enjoyment in even the simplest things. Staying busy contributes to a much healthier life. It can be just as fulfilling as traveling. Despite traveling to the Netherlands almost six years, everything can retain a newness and fascination for me. This weekend stood out in particular because of “being busy”.  Saturday we took a day trip to Belgium for a family birthday. Today we played tourist locally, riding our bicycles through Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout. We rode a total of 18.5 km (11.49 mi). I believe that is the longest bike ride I’ve ever had!
