Twenty hours, one thousand miles later, we’re in Boston! We drove pretty much non-stop, only switching in the middle of the night so we could each get some sleep in the car. Somewhere in New York we stopped and did a video log, using my iPod Touch as a light. We were very silly and seemed half drunk from the lack of sleep. I could barely type when I checked my e-mail at the rest stop, so AY took over the last leg of the trip. Around 7 am we found ourselves in Boston, but we made a wrong turn off the Pike. We managed to get ahold of Thia, one of Katy’s roommates. She helped guide us to the house successfully. When we got there, both AY and I collapsed onto the bed and fell asleep. We woke up around 12:30 pm and went out for Chinese food with Thia. Later that night the girls started working on their costumes for the Anime Boston Convention. AY needed to finish up her Yue costume. Katy did a lot of the sewing, and Thia did a lot of pinning and cutting. They were up pretty late working on the costumes, but I headed to bed around midnight.
