Fly Away

I have made it safely to G’s house after a sixteen hour commute from Chicago O’Hare to Schiphol Amsterdam. Today is my twenty-third birthday, and I spent seven hours of it at Heathrow Airport. Luckily I managed to conjure up internet and power to keep my laptop and brain going for that time. The gate system was really annoying, as they do not tell you which gate you’re departing out of until the last minute. In my boredom, I noticed the variety of people coming and going through the airport. There was one man with a BIG unibrow, a clone of someone I know, and a bunch of schoolkids who were extremely camera happy.

The only thing bothered me during the trip here was boarding the BMI airline plane on the tarmac itself. I thought it was rather dumb. I have had a total of five hours sleep tonight, time to zonk out.
