My flight was far from crazy! The airport was practically empty when I walked in, and with web check-in it was a snap. The plane I flew on was an Airbus 330, it is huge compared to the normal planes I ride. I got an entire aisle and window seat to myself, so I had plenty of room. They played a few movies on the plane, including Fawlty Towers, Marley and Me, and Inkheart. The last two weren’t so great, there wasn’t a real plot to them. I tried sleeping but I only got in about a half hour, I think I was too excited. When we landed in Dublin, there was a very loud series of bangs. When we touched down, the pilot informed us we would be unable to steer, so the airport would have to tow us in. It took an additional forty minutes, and my connecting flight nearly left without me. Minus the delays and going through the garda lines, it was a very easy trip. I am not so sure about the reliability of Aerlingus’ planes though….
