It’s been one year since I lost my mom. One of our favorite pastimes together was gardening. With her in mind, I spent the day in the garden with Gerben. Our improvements in the yard are transforming our property slowly. The neighbors even noticed the difference, and helpedĀ us to tear down the growth inhibition tarp on our shared fence. They had installed it when the previous owner refused to maintain his garden, and it began to overgrow the boundary. I think they’re thankful to have us as neighbors šĀ The garden is much brighter now. We also installed flower boxes full of strawberries on the fenceline as well.
