The beautiful spring is going strong, along with the onset of flower season. All of the daffodils and hyacinths are outside on the fields, and the tulips are about to arrive. It’s one of my favorite times of year, though only my second flower season. At a balmy 18 degrees C, it was the perfect weather for a motorcycle ride. G took both his sister and I separately on the motorcycle around the area. We spent about two hours zooming around the Bollenstreek looking at the flowers. A significant portion of that time was dedicated to driving past potential houses in the area as well. I really like the towns that we visited, and I wouldn’t mind living in any of them.
Today felt like a celebration, since I received good news regarding my recent integration exam results. I took 3 out of 5 required tests last Friday, and I passed all of them. I only need two more tests to fully pass integration, and qualify at A2 level Dutch. Looks like I’ll have plenty more flower seasons to come!
